After successfully installing xampp in Ubuntu , Next step is Choosing the PHP Editor

For Linux ; the Good PHP Editors i know are ECLIPSE and Blue Fish editor

Blue Fish Editor can be avail from the Package manager.

PHP Eclipse is not directly available for PHP Eclipse First install Eclipse using Package Manager and then Follow the steps as mentioned Below ..

1.Click on Applications -> Programming -> Eclipse to launch Eclipse
2. Click On Help – > Software Updates -> Find and Install
3. Create a New Remote file name it as PHPEclipse and give the URL as http://update.phpeclipse.net/update/nightly

4. Follow the screen instructions till it starts downloading

5. Done
